Elevators are a relatively large type of special equipment, and the task of safety supervision is very difficult.

In response to the current problems of insufficient data and poor quality obtained by elevator IoT sensors, Shenzhen V&T Technologies Co.,Ltd., who has rich experience in China's industrial automation, new energy vehicle motor control, also elevator inverter control, and Huzhou Special Equipment Inspection and Research Institute, Chinese Academy of Sciences, etc. The units jointly signed a cooperation agreement on the "Quality and Technology Infrastructure Project of Zhejiang Provincial Market Supervision Administration-Based on the Research of Integrated Elevator Safety Management and Application Technology".

The project aims to use the experience and advantages of their respective fields through the strong alliance of multiple units to jointly develop new data collection equipment and the introduction of new algorithms to make information acquisition and dangerous behavior identification more accurate and efficient. On this basis, a large database of elevator Internet of Things is built, combined with big data analysis, to provide scientific support for on-demand maintenance, so that the supervision department can effectively supervise maintenance units and elevator manufacturers.

A complete elevator IoT monitoring system is composed of data collection part + data transmission part + central processing part + IoT application software and other subsystems. The main purpose of the system is to solve the problem of elevator safe operation.

The elevator operation data monitored by the elevator Internet of Things is transmitted to the background in real time, through the platform application system (software) for data analysis, identification of signs, and prevention of failures, thus realizing real-time and effective supervision and maintenance of elevators by relevant units.
