The hoisting of the prefabricated middle beam of the 1470-ton main tower weighing 1470 tons has set a world record for the precast hoisting concrete components of mountain valley bridges!

The main cable construction is the focus and difficulty of the key process of the construction of Fenglinte Bridge, and it is also the main stress system of the suspension bridge. The main cable is divided into two pieces on the left and the right, with a length of about 971 meters and a total weight of 4131 tons. The single-frame main cable has a total of 131 cables (including 4 back cables). Each cable is composed of 91 zinc-aluminum-magnesium coated steel wires with a diameter of 5.45 mm. The maximum weight of a single cable strand is approximately 16.4 tons.

 

The winch system configured on both sides of the bridge has very high requirements on the performance, stability and reliability of the drive.
