Fault Analysis: During the inspection, the maintenance personnel found that a power tube was damaged. However, due to the lack of information, the function of the tube was not clear. It was thought to be the front push of power drive. Replace it with a power tube. After power is applied, the insurance was burned again and the replaced pipe was damaged. After inspection by professional maintenance personnel, the initial analysis is correct, that is, the insurance is repeatedly blown, the driver must have an abnormal large current, and a power tube is damaged. But the role of the tube is not clear. In fact, the tube is the driving tube of the stepping motor power supply, and the stepping motor is started at high voltage, so it has to bear high voltage and large current. Static inspection found that in the line of the Pulse ring distributor, the resistance from the power supply to the ground end is very small, but there is no short circuit. According to the number of components in the circuit and their power consumption, the resistance value from the power supply to the ground should not be so small, so it is suspected that the components in the circuit have been damaged. The power-on check found that a chip was abnormally hot. After the power is cut off, the Power pin of the chip is cut off, and the static check shows that the increase of the resistance of the power supply to the ground should be normal. The resistance value of measuring the power supply of the chip to ground is very small. Check the model of the chip, a non-standard model, not found in many manuals. Through circuit analysis, it is confirmed that it is the main component in the board: ring pulse distributor. In order to further confirm the problem of the chip, first replace the stepping motor power supply driver tube with the same withstand voltage current power, restore the power pin of the chip, the light emitting diode circuit is used to replace each winding of stepping motor for analog load. After power-on, the light-emitting diodes are all on, that is, all windings are powered on, which does not meet the requirements of the line. The input stepping pulse does not respond, and the imported pump is faulty: therefore, it is confirmed that the chip is damaged. However, the chip is not available in the market. Under the condition that the space in the driver shell allows, an annular pulse generator is designed by adopting a combined circuit, I . e. using the combination of the d trigger and NAND gate already on hand, made on a small printed board, remove the original chip and pin the small printed board on the pad of the original chip. The light-emitting diode is still used as the analog load, and the stepping pulse is added after power-on to emit light in phase sequence. Remove the analog load, access the host, power on, and the equipment is running normally. This example shows that maintenance personnel should not only be able to analyze the phenomenon (Overcurrent), Find out the more obvious reasons (Power Tube damage), But also to be able to analyze the initial cause of the fault step by step (Pulse generator damaged) , And can use the existing component combination on hand to replace the difficult device problem.
