Siemens Launches Integrated drive system with open cooling circuit

Concept, Siemens recently introduced an environment-friendly integrated transmission system composed of Simotics FD motor and water-cooled Sinamics S120 inverter.
The system adopts the integrated cooling concept and converts available industrial water into cooling water for the transmission system, so that the equipment, motor and frequency converter share the open cooling circuit.
The shared cooling circuit enables the frequency converter to save circulation cooling links, greatly reducing the required space while improving economic and energy efficiency.
This flexible transmission system can meet the complex application requirements of steel, automobile and process industries as well as the application requirements of offshore and ships.
