The step angle of motor is different due to different phase numbers. Generally, the step angle of two-phase motor is 1. 8 degrees, three phases are 1. 2 degrees, five phase is 0. 72 degrees.
When there is no subdivision driver, users mainly rely on selecting stepping motors with different phase numbers to meet the requirements of step angle.
If a subdivision drive is used, the number of phases will become meaningless, and the user can change the step angle only by changing the subdivision on the drive.
After the driver is subdivided, it will have a qualitative leap in the operation performance of the motor, but all this is generated by the driver itself and has nothing to do with the motor and the control system.
In use, the only point that the user needs to pay attention to is the change of step angle of the stepping motor, which will affect the frequency of the stepping signal sent by the control system, because the step angle of the stepping motor will become smaller after subdivision, the frequency of the stepping signal is required to be increased accordingly. 8 degree stepping motor as an example: when the driver is in the half step state, the step angle is 0. 9 degrees, and in the ten subdivision step angle is 0.
18 degrees, so that under the condition that the motor speed is required to be the same, the frequency of the stepping signal sent by the control system is 5 times that of the half-step operation in ten minutes.
Generally, the precision of a stepping motor is 3 ~ of the stepping angle ~ 5%.
The single step deviation of the stepping motor will not affect the precision of the next step, so the precision of the stepping motor will not accumulate.
